Covid-19 Policy

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infection Prevention & Control Policy

Carried out by:

Sarah Impey at Your Time To Shine

This Policy document has been created as a result of the  coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

I am delighted to now be able to reopen my doors to  you for in person, face-to-face sessions once again, and of course my online Zoom sessions also remain in place should you prefer that option. I very much look forward to seeing you again in the near future.

My priority is always the wellbeing, health and safety of my valued clients. In order to re-open my business safely I have had to implement some changes which I would like to make you aware of.

During this time my business had been forced to cease face-to-face appointments due to the Pandemic, I have completed the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infection Prevention and Control Workshop, certified by SOLUTIONS4THERAPISTS. I have now made a number of changes and put a few measures in place in order to ensure that my business can continue to function and provide high standards of service in a safe way.

If I feel ill or have symptoms of C0VlD-19, I will self-isolate immediately and will not continue to seeing face-to-face clients but will of course continue online . This may mean that I have to cancel your appointment and at short notice, however, I will do my utmost to uphold my 24hr policy as much as I am able. I appreciate that this may be inconvenient but rest assured it is done entirely for the safety of everyone. Should your appointment be cancelled rest assured I will do my utmost to reschedule at a later date.

If you or any of the people you live with feel ill or display any symptoms of COVlD-19, please advise me as soon as possible and please DO NOT ATTEND the premises FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT.  My booking terms and conditions have been amended and you will not be charged for any appointments which you may miss due to you contracting COVID-19.

Visiting my premises

In order to keep all my valued clients safe and maintain social distancing, i ask that you please attend your appointments as close to the appointment time as possible, so as  not to compromise social distancing measures.

I have increased the frequency of cleaning, including making sure that common areas, toilets, door handles etc. are wiped clean using disinfectant products between each client.

In the interests of good Hand Hygiene, i encourage all my clients to use the hand sanitiser provided for you when you come into the premises.

I will understand and not be offended if you wish to wear a face mask and/or wear disposable gloves when you visit during your session, however that said Social Distancing will always be adhered to.

I can confirm that the safe laundering of towels  is a priority and I will also provide anti-septic wipes  and please rest assured that all business related laundry is washed at 60 degrees C.

All disposable items are bagged and safely removed from the session area in between each client session.

My sessions

I have carried out a risk assessment and I am confident that i can continue to provide sessions safely.

During your session

I understand the importance of hand hygiene and i will ensure that I wash my hands in according with NHS recommendations before the start of your session§.

I will always endeavour to make your session safe and comfortable as your wellbeing has always been my main priority. If you have any concerns about your session please don’t hesitate to let me know and I will do what I can to address these.

After the session

All stated procedures and changes have been implemented in line with the new Government policies. I will continue to take advice from the Government and the NHS regarding safe practice and will amend this policy as necessary.

Thank you for your complete understanding.
